Blend Saisonnier - 333g Retail Bag
Currently, our blend contains coffees from Tanzania (20%), Colombia (20%), and Guatemala (60%). Though the coffees comprising our blend change throughout the year, our goal is always to present something round and rich, with a comforting cola-sweetness that is amenable to a variety of brewing methods. In our own cafes, the Blend will often be served as espresso for milk-based beverages, because we believe that its mild brightness and syrupy body are perfectly suited for larger, cozier concoctions.Decaf Nevado del Huila (Columbia) - 333g Retail Bag
This lot comes from a producer group based in the foothills of the Nevado del Huila Park in Santa Maria, Huila, Colombia. We have purchased coffee from this group for two years (La Victoria), but this is our first time carrying their "sugarcane" process decaf, which we believe is exceptionally sweet and crisp. In the cup, we taste red apple, chestnut, and molasses.Instant Coffee Blend Saisonnier
Instant Valle del Inca
Quality and responsibly-sourced coffee, anywhere. Just add water! Each box contains 6 sachets of freeze-dried coffee. Instructions: We recommend diluting 1 sachet with 8-10 oz of water, depending on your preferred strength, stir and enjoy.Blend Classique - 333g Retail Bag
This blend will work wonderfully for anyone who enjoys a classic, European-style espresso, which we think of as shorter, more syrupy, and less bright than modern espresso. Even if not making espresso, this is our best option for anyone who prefers darkly roasted coffees. Like our “Blend Saisonnier,” the components of this blend will change throughout the year, but the target flavor profile and texture remain the same.Plumeria - Brazil 333g Retail Bag
Plumeria is a group of 139 women coffee growers located in Minas Gerais and Val do Rio Pardo, Brazil. They are part of a much larger cooperative called Cooxupe, which strives to maximize quality, traceability, and sustainability at a truly meaningful scale. In the cup, we taste cashew butter, cocoa, and hazelnut.Santa Margarita (Guatemala) - 333g Retail Bag
Santa Margarita is a fourth-generation family farm in Acatenango, Guatemala, half owned by Camila Topke. Camila's goal is to promote sustainable work for women, maintaining a 50% women workforce, on-farm housing for perennial workers, and operating a school. This is our fourth year featuring this coffee. In the cup, we taste chocolate, hazelnut, and root beer.Las Segovias (Nicaragua) - 333g Retail Bag
This is our fourth year featuring coffee from Beneficio Las Segovias, a washing station and dry mill in Ocotal, Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua. Luis Alberto Balladarez is Las Segovias’s owner/operator, an industry veteran with deep and widespread connections to coffee producers throughout northern Nicaragua. This year, we purchased one of Luis Alberto’s multi-farm blends, this year representing two different producers. This selection was initially assessed and introduced to us by our importing partners, The Coffee Quest, and presents a sweet, nutty, cozy flavor profile that will beautifully bridge the summer and fall.Zongolica (Mexico) - 333g Retail Bag
Zongolica is a town in Veracruz, Mexico. Twenty women farmers produced this coffee, each processing on their own farms according to training provided by the NKG Bloom program. This program also provides financing, business training, and more. This is our second year purchasing this coffee. In the cup, we taste peach, honey, and fig.Buhorwa (Burundi) - 333g Retail Bag
Buhorwa is a washing station near Bukeye, Burundi. We visited Buhorwa in 2019, after years of buying the coffee. Contributors to this lot are supported by Projet Vache, an initiative that helps farmers diversify their incomes with good agricultural practices. This year’s offering is proudly our seventh time featuring Buhorwa on our menu. In the cup, we taste grapefruit, black tea, and dates.Isabela Marcos Gaspar - Guatemala 333g
This is our fifth year featuring Isabela, and our sixth with coffee from the ADIPY co-op in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Isabela has been farming since 1990, with certified organic practices since 2009. Isabela is one of 92 women farmers who belong to the ADIPY co-op. In the cup, we taste mango, cream, and orange zest.Sueños de Pichingo - Honduras 333g
Pichingo is a small community in the Comayagua Mountains of Honduras. This lot was produced by Disnel Ramirez and Celia Portillo, extended family members of Jesus Galeas, a longtime leader in this region's coffee community and close ally to our importing partner, Semilla. Disnel and Celia are newer to specialty, and we are thrilled to support them at this stage. In the cup, we taste butterscotch, praline, and meyer lemon.
