Currently, our blend contains coffees from Tanzania (20%), Colombia (20%), and Guatemala (60%). Though the coffees comprising our blend change throughout the year, our goal is always to present something round and rich, with a comforting cola-sweetness that is amenable to a variety of brewing methods. In our own cafes, the Blend will often be served as espresso for milk-based beverages, because we believe that its mild brightness and syrupy body are perfectly suited for larger, cozier concoctions.

Decaf Guarapo - Colombia 333g

Guarapo is a decaf blend brought to us by 17 smallholder farmers in Hulia, Colombia, represented by the grower empowerment network Monkaaba in partnership with our importer, Semilla Coffee. Naturally sweetened in the decaffeination process by organic sugarcane-derived Ethyl Acetate, Guarapo is named after the fresh-pressed sugarcane juice enjoyed by local cafeteros. In the cup, we taste graham cracker, caramel and green apple.

Zongolica y Tequila - Mexico 333g

A velvety and balanced coffee grown by two groups of smallholder farmers in Veracruz, Mexico. Contributing farmers (18 total) are majority women, and of the Indigenous Nahua community. We’ve featured coffee from this region for three years this time around, gaining more price traceability through new importer and exporter relationships. In the cup we taste caramel, mulling spices, and blood orange.

A caramel-sweet regional blend by 11 members of the Cafe Colis Resistencia producer group in Mataquescuintla, Guatemala. This coffee supports Indigenous Xinka nation — we’re donating $0.50 from this bag to a community microlending fund. In the cup, we taste caramel brittle, bakers chocolate and dried apple.

This coffee, named after the Anhumas valley of its provenance, is a blended lot from two farms operated by Mauro and Silvana Cavalari and Thiago Manzoli. These producers are represented by FAF exporters who support the transition towards regenerative agriculture and improved profitability for 150+ smallholder farmers across three surrounding states. and the project of local exporters and Enjoy a sweet, full-bodied and comforting cup exemplary of the terroir. We taste oat cookie, peanut brittle, and dried raisins.

A recurring field blend on our menu featuring different producers each year, “Dreams of Selguapa,” (self-titled by the community’s own members) references the aspirations of farming families in San Miguel de Selguapa to earn sustainable incomes from high quality coffee production. Thanks to the work of our import partners Semilla Coffee and the international roasting community, this dream is coming true. This coffee comes from three contributing producers — Adonis Argueta, Elder Castillo, and Atanacia Ramirez. We taste anjou pear, cane sugar, and halva.
