Cocapil (Brazil) - 333g Retail Bag
COCAPIL is a family-owned cooperative in Mogiana, Brazil. Founded by Laerce França Faleiros in 2001, COCAPIL has grown from 13 to ~1,300 farmers and is now managed by Laerce's son, Elvis Vilhena Faleiros. Their commitments to price transparency, sustainability, and quality are exceptional. In the cup, we taste hazelnut, milk chocolate, and torrone.Blend Saisonnier - 333g Retail Bag
Currently, our blend contains coffees from Tanzania (20%), Colombia (20%), and Guatemala (60%). Though the coffees comprising our blend change throughout the year, our goal is always to present something round and rich, with a comforting cola-sweetness that is amenable to a variety of brewing methods. In our own cafes, the Blend will often be served as espresso for milk-based beverages, because we believe that its mild brightness and syrupy body are perfectly suited for larger, cozier concoctions.Decaf Nevado del Huila (Columbia) - 333g Retail Bag
This lot comes from a producer group based in the foothills of the Nevado del Huila Park in Santa Maria, Huila, Colombia. We have purchased coffee from this group for two years (La Victoria), but this is our first time carrying their "sugarcane" process decaf, which we believe is exceptionally sweet and crisp. In the cup, we taste red apple, chestnut, and molasses.Instant Coffee Blend Saisonnier
Denia Palacios (Honduras) - 333g Retail Bag
Denia Palacios Ramirez is married to one of our recurring favorite producers — Reiniel Ramirez. Coffee farming is often a family affair, but it's rare and exciting to see two members of a household with distinct parcels market their coffees under separate names. We're thrilled that Denia has done so, and are proud to represent both Denia and Reiniel. In the cup, we taste sweet tea and confetti cake.Instant Valle del Inca
Quality and responsibly-sourced coffee, anywhere. Just add water! Each box contains 6 sachets of freeze-dried coffee. Instructions: We recommend diluting 1 sachet with 8-10 oz of water, depending on your preferred strength, stir and enjoy.Kyauk Ku Pyin Myanmar - 333g Retail Bag
Kyauk Ku Pyin is a town in Shan State, Myanmar/Burma. It is among several communities represented by an association called Shwe Thaung Thu, which shares strategies and resources to promote the economic well-being of coffee-growing communities throughout the region. In the cup, we taste citrus punch and sweet basil.Baho Lavé (Rwanda) - 333g Retail Bag
Emmanuel Rusatira founded Baho after decades of working in the Rwandan coffee sector, and now manages 11 washing stations throughout the country. Motivated by equity, education, and experimentation, all of their work is inspiring. This blend brings together washed coffees from several stations. In the cup, we taste black cherry, cola, and blood orange.Baho Natural (Rawanda) - 333g Retail Bag
Emmanuel Rusatira founded Baho after decades of working in the Rwandan coffee sector, now managing 11 washing stations throughout the country. Motivated by equity, education, and experimentation, all of their work is inspiring. This blend brings together dry-processed coffees from several stations. In the cup, we taste dried lime, red wine, and strawberry.Yolanda & Vidalina (Peru) - 333g Retail Bag
This is our third year working with our importing partner, Red Fox, to represent individual women from coops in Peru. This year's offering is from Yolanda Cabrera Alvarez and Vidalina Quispe Inquillay, both based in Cusco. Vidalina's Typica is the base for this super-sweet coffee, with Caturra and Typica from Yolanda's sky-high farm boosting brightness. In the cup, we taste apricot, buckwheat honey, and sugar cookie.Blend Classique - 333g Retail Bag
This blend will work wonderfully for anyone who enjoys a classic, European-style espresso, which we think of as shorter, more syrupy, and less bright than modern espresso. Even if not making espresso, this is our best option for anyone who prefers darkly roasted coffees. Like our “Blend Saisonnier,” the components of this blend will change throughout the year, but the target flavor profile and texture remain the same.
