At Ritual, we are making it easier to prioritize sustainability in your everyday rituals (see what we did there?). In Australia, we have partnered with some amazing companies that are helping reduce waste and promote sustainability.

Our Partners in Sustainability

Huskee logo
Huskee

Huskee has created an innovative, reusable coffee cup that is revolutionising the way take-away coffee and disposable cups work. For both the coffee-drinker and the café-owner, disposable paper or plastic cups are a hugely wasteful component and ultimately contributes to landfill.

Returnr is here for the dreamers & doers, those looking to play their part in living a little lighter on this planet. Returnr was built to be a range of products, that could be used in substitute for single use packaging for suppliers & customers who are looking for a better way.

Sustainable Actions

If you’re in Australia, here are some ways you can reduce your impact on Mother Earth when you order on Ritual:

1. Choose No lid

Don’t need it? Don’t take it! Opt out of using a lid by clicking “Lidless Coffee” in the Modifiers section.

Modifiers section choosing lidless coffee option.

2. Request to not have cutlery on your orders

Chances are you have knives, forks and spoons at home or work that are superior to flimsy plastic ones. So opt for “No Cutlery” to save yourself AND the environment.

Modifiers section choosing no cutlery.

3. Bring your own Keep Cup

Did you know it is estimated that over 1 billion take-away coffee cups end up in landfill in Australia every year? Yup - that’s a LOT of cups. Bringing your own means you’re doing your part to keep take-away cups out of the landfill.

Did you know that a discount is offered at participating merchants for users with a BYOC? Yup, it's true!

Merchants who accept BYOC:

4. Participate in reusable cup or container swap schemes

Companies, like our partners at Huskee and Returnr, are providing opportunities to swap cups and containers at purchase. This means not only is using reusables more convenient for you, but it's preventing unnecessary single-use packaging from being created.
